Fare's repository of characters
Welcome! Here, you will find a repository of DND characters created by me, Fare. This will give me a space to share my characters, their origins, and a little of who they are and what they might sound like. Selfishly, this gives me the space to play around with my voice and build upon my voice acting skills, which at the time of writing this, is quite minimal.
Please feel free to play around with these characters. Use them if you’d like for your own campaigns as well as changing any of the stats and background details to better suit your story. While I’m still building up my knowledge of the DND worlds, my goal for now is to create setting-agnostic characters who can fit in most stories.
Generally, the format of each post will follow the below order:
Setting: The world in which this story is set in. As I mentioned earlier, these characters will be setting-agnostic, so use it as a reference point to help further ground your own version of this character.
Playlist on Spotify: The music reflects the character’s vibe. I take elements of their background, personalities, and their surroundings to create a 12-15 song playlist. And as a music person, there will always be an element of myself in each of these.
Voice: Call me a “budding” voice actor or a buffoon, but I’ve always enjoyed playing with my voice. Whether it’s accents or impersonations, my characters will generally have a specific tone and timbre to their voice.
Character Background:
Class background: Some base information of each class and more specifically how each character becomes their class
Backstory: Details on the character’s background, who they are and how they came to be.
Events Leading up to the Adventure: Through prose and dialogue, I cover the events leading up to the adventure’s start
Questions to Consider: These questions allow you to build this character however you wish. These cover character development, both internally and externally, as well as surrounding-based questions, i.e. how does this character interact with the world around them.
